VoiceCalc AI uses your phone's built-in speech recognition (Android or iPhone) together with our own on-device math parser. Download your language's offline speech pack once (in the app: Settings → Offline Speech) and voice works fully offline, even in flight mode. Without that pack, your phone's speech service (Google or Apple) may process the audio. The calculation itself always runs on your phone, and the app never sends anything over the internet.
Simply tap the PiP button in the app's top bar or enable it in Settings. Android will ask for "Display Over Other Apps" permission once. Afterwards, a compact floating calculator will hover over WhatsApp, Amazon, or Excel. You can drag it anywhere, collapse it to a bubble, or tap to calculate while keeping your active app visible.
Standard calculators often trigger a reset error if you accidentally tap an operator like '+' or '×' right before pressing '='. VoiceCalc AI features our proprietary Pending Operator Safety engine: it safely computes the expression up to the last valid number or notifies you that the operator is still pending, ensuring your calculations are never accidentally lost.

Yes. Say "2 plus 2" and you get 4. Pause as long as you like, then say "plus 2" and you get 6. Anything that starts with an operator ("plus", "minus", "times", "divided by", "x") continues from the last result, and saying a new number on its own starts fresh. If you pause halfway, as in "25 plus …", the app waits for the rest.
Talk normally: "what is 18 percent of 420", "half of 3 lakh", "square root of 144", "2 and a half times 4", "split 1200 between 4", "15% discount on 2,499" or "kitna hua". Fillers like "hey", "bro" and "please" are ignored. Voice works in English (India and US), Hinglish, Hindi, Spanish, French and German, and understands lakh and crore.
No. iPhone doesn't let apps float over other apps, so the floating calculator, the home screen widget and the quick-settings tile are Android-only. Voice math, the keypad, scientific mode, conversions and history work the same on both.
