3. Device Permissions & Usage

VoiceCalc AI requests only the minimal permissions required to deliver its interactive features on Android:

Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO):
Purpose: Used solely when you deliberately tap the voice calculation button to speak numbers and mathematical operators hands-free.
How it is handled: Audio is processed in volatile device memory (RAM) via Android's local speech recognizer. Audio streams are never recorded to permanent storage and never transmitted over the internet.
Display Over Other Apps (android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW):
Purpose: Used solely to display the optional floating Picture-in-Picture (PiP) calculator bubble over other applications (e.g., shopping apps, WhatsApp, spreadsheets).
How it is handled: The window is an isolated overlay. The app has zero access to inspect, read, screenshot, or log content from your screen or underlying apps.
Vibration (android.permission.VIBRATE):
Purpose: Used to provide tactile mechanical click feedback when pressing keys on the keypad and widget.

4. Local Data Storage & User Control

All calculations, variables, formulas, and history entries are saved exclusively within your device's private sandboxed application storage (AsyncStorage).

No user account or login is required to use any feature of the app.
Your calculation history is never synced to the cloud.
User Right to Deletion: You have complete control to wipe your history at any moment by opening the app drawer and tapping "Clear All History", or by clearing the app data in Android Settings.

5. Third-Party Services & Advertising

VoiceCalc AI contains NO advertising networks, NO advertising IDs, NO behavioral tracking libraries, and NO third-party analytics SDKs.

Because the application does not include third-party monetization or telemetry tools, your activity is never profiled, tracked, or shared.
